Unforgettable Calanques Kayak: Turquoise Coves & Secret Grottos

Fantastic sea kayaking experience, we had an amazing time. We were taught the techniques required before setting off on the adventure. Lots of history shared on the way and everything always translated into English so we knew what was happening. Would highly recommend.

We were scheduled for the all day tour but as we were the only two people signed up they asked us to change to the afternoon half day. I don’t know why it was a problem for them but oh well… The tour itself was meh…just a paddle around the bay and the green island. Our guide Olivier was nice and helpful, English passable. But know this tour is in no way a tour of the Calanques National Park which is miles away. I was very disappointed as the tour is listed as being near the Calanques which was our entire reason for coming to La Ciotat. If you want to tour the Calanques choose a company out of Cassis or Marseille maybe.

Great guide, great equipment. Kayak-tour itself takes you a very long time through the harbor of Ciotat, so time and experience at the national park is very short. I would consider a full day tour next time.

Second rate equipment and a dull itinerary around one island and the harbour. The weather didn't help but if it affected the possibilities the expedition should have been cancelled. Your website claims a 2E charge for shoes, we were charged 4E. The tour guide was charming.

So much fun! You can tell Romy really loves what he does. He was so enthusiastic about helping us kayak and was patient with us when one of us fell behind. The surroundings were gorgeous and it was so enjoyable to ride the waves even though it was a little choppy out. Would definitely recommend!

What a fantastic outing! Our guide Ely was informative, capable, and so fun. The scenery was gorgeous and the kayaking challenging but not too difficult. Absolutely recommend!

The Kayak tour was fun. We were lucky with the weather and our guide Ele was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area with a real passion for being a guide. The tour is a moderate workout so be prepared for that but it's nothing that most people can't handle. The scenery is great, you will mostly be on open waters with a few occasions where you'll go through narrow rock passages. All and all a fun outing and a great way to spend a day out.

This was a fun family adventure! We enjoyed learning a bit of the history of La Ciotat, the water was clear and warm, and the cave at Green Island was a great destination to explore. Thank you to our guide who helped us feel safe so we could focus on the fun. The time flew by in a flash.

The trip was fine. Kayaks/equipment were in good repair and our guide was very nice. But there was really no explanation of what was around us. No talk about plants, wildlife, and only a little about the history of the place. IT was mostly just a sea kayak paddle triangle around the harbor and then over to the green island.

You get the full 3 hours and the guide was very knowledgeable and detailed. Beautiful scenery. We highly recommend. You do need to be in some what good shape (maybe 5 out of 10) because of the sea waves and wind
